Afternoon Retreat for Parents
An afternoon of gentle yoga, breathing practices, meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation) for parents looking to relax and regenerate.
Lauren will lead an afternoon of hatha & restorative yoga, which encourages you to connect more deeply with yourself and others.
The workshop will be layered with subtly energising Yoga asana postures to help you feel replenished, restored and recharged.
We’ll touch upon how we can use everyday parenting as a mindfulness or meditation practice in itself.
As well as connecting with others, we will allow time for silence, meditation, deep rest and relaxation through Yoga Nidra.
The retreat ends with a delicious cake and the chance to chat to other parents!
- All parents are welcome including mums, dads and carers.
- You may attend as a couple or come by yourself.
- Postnatal women welcome from 12 weeks.
- No children allowed, this retreat is ‘parents only’ to facilitate deep rest.
- £25 for individuals
- £40 for couples
Lauren is a Yoga Teacher based in Leeds. When she’s not Yoga-ing Lauren is parenting a lively 1 year old and looking after a miniature dachshund! Lauren is trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Pregnancy, Postnatal & Kid’s Yoga. Lauren is passionate about improving access to Yoga for everyone to facilitate improved wellbeing on every level; physically, mentally and emotionally.
