H2O Heart & Hip Opener

Happy Hips and a Happy Heart are the focus of this workshop.

During this lunar Prana Vinyasa Flow Class we are working with these two important regions of the body. The hips are associated with the element of water and the heart to the element air; as such, both elements are weaved in to this gentle flow.

Beside the elements, Prana Vinyasa Flow also works with micro movements within each Asana (pose)  in harmony with your breath. Including such a focus on the breath with the movement allows you melt into poses.

Lunar Prana Vinyasa provides a perfect antidote to our fast living and changing everyday life; it’s a valuable tool to slow down and release tension.

This workshop will include a mixture of regenerative and restorative practice with specific focus on hip and heart areas, meditative Prana Vinyasa Namaskars (moon salutations) as well as lunar Mudrasanas (asana you hold for a bit longer). The end of this workshop will be an indulgent Yoga Nidra, including the air and water elements.

This workshop is perfect to ease in to the weekend with a happy heart, and happy hips!

About Sibylle:

 

Sibylle comes from an outdoor education background which allows the classes to be taught in harmony with nature. She has practiced Yoga since 2006 and been teaching for two years. Sibylle completed a 200h Prana Vinyasa Flow Alliance approved Training by Shiva Rea.

 

Sibylle sees Yoga as a path of self exploration. Yoga is more than asana practice, it means rediscovering your natural rhythm of life and reconnecting with your inner teacher, your breath. It provides, in the craziness of everyday life, moments to pause, be still, look inside and allow your mind to arrive in the present. Beside the asana practice and physical aspect of her practices she is always keen to integrate some yoga philosophy, the chakras, elements, moon-cycle as well as pranayama and meditation.

 

Sibylle’s Prana Vinyasa Flow classes are fluid and vary from powerful solar to introspective and meditative lunar practices. The aim of her classes are to provide a safe space for you to experience yoga in an individual way and go on a journey to yourself. Whether you’re completely new or already deep into your practice you’ll find what serves you within the class. The particular wave sequencing in Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga allows meeting different levels.
