Join Kath and Amera for a monthly series of workshops to help you RENEW & REFRESH through deep relaxation.
As we enter a new year, we’re often reflecting over the previous year and thinking about new intentions we want to cultivate in our lives for the year ahead. These workshops are designed to help you slow-down and reconnect to your inner self.
Focussed around restorative yoga and yoga nidra, they will offer an opportunity to take some time out for deep rest, allowing for the body and mind to find stillness and peace – a chance to hear our inner wisdom.
Each session will begin with some gentle grounding movement, working with the breath to soothe the nervous system. We will follow with restorative yoga postures, supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets, to allow the body and mind to fully let go and rest.
We will then move on to yoga nidra, a deeply meditative practice also known as yogic sleep. You will be guided through a meditation technique to expand your awareness and encourage stillness and inner peace.
Through this series, we aim to leave you feeling renewed and refreshed!
