ONLINE: Yoga for Birth Preparation Workshop
Would you like to learn yoga movements and breathing techniques that will help you in labour, to be relaxed, prepared and strong?
This special online workshop is designed to do just that. As well as breathing and relaxation techniques, we will be looking at exercises for the weeks leading up to birth to encourage your baby into the optimal position and movements and positioning during labour, creating space to help birth your baby.
You can expect to be guided through a session that will help your body to get ready for birth, have an active birth and that will help you in labour. You’ll feel relaxed and restored, strong and ready for whatever labour brings. You’ll also be guided through a delicious relaxation!
We’ll have a chat at the end, to help answer questions you may have and finish the session off feeling like the warrior you are, ready and excited to meet your baby.
You will need a large exercise ball (birth ball) for this workshop, if you do not already have one, it’s an investment we would strongly recommend, birth balls can be a fabulous aid for the last few weeks of pregnancy as well as during labour. You can borrow or buy a normal exercise ball for around £20 (Amazon and various other places will deliver) They come in 2 different sizes a basic guide to this is if you are 5’8” or shorter- use a 65 cm ball. If you are 5’9” or taller- use a 75 cm ball.
This workshop is perfect for all expectant mums to be, that want to be as calm and prepared as possible to meet their baby.
