Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
This Restorative and Yoga Nidra workshop offers student time and space to find stillness, relaxation and deep rest. Beginning with Restorative Yoga, taking time to set up our postures with bolsters, blocks and blankets, to allow the body to be fully supported and held. Encouraging the body and mind to completely let go and relax for healing and rejuvenation.
Ending with Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep! This deeply meditative practice allows the body to fully rest whilst the mind maintains full awareness, in the state between wakefulness and sleep. You will be guided through a relaxation technique to expand your awareness and encourage stillness and calm.
Perfect for those seeking a healing practice, recovering from illness or injury, or simply to relax. This is a lovely balance to an active lifestyle or more dynamic activities and forms of yoga.
