Spring Renewal: A Restorative Workshop
Join Maddy and Kath for a nourishing and rebalancing restorative yoga workshop, to help you feel revived and re-energised for Springtime.
The long winter months can often leave us feeling tired and lethargic, and in need of a little extra TLC. This workshop is an opportunity for you to take some time out, give yourself permission to truly relax and rest, and to recharge your batteries.
We’ll begin with some gentle, grounding movements, working with the breath to calm the nervous system, gently stretch the body and become present.
We will then move through restorative yoga poses to relax and restore the body, and rebalance the mind and spirit. We’ll use props (bolsters, blankets and eye pillows) to create deliciously comfortable, cosy poses that allow the body to get into a deep state of relaxation.
We will incorporate yoga nidra (a relaxing guided meditation) which is a powerful tool for deep relaxation and rest. Nidra means sleep, and the effects of practising yoga nidra leave the body and mind refreshed.
After this session of deep relaxation, you’ll leave feeling grounded, restored and re-energised ready to spring into Spring!
