Join Kath and Amera for this 4-week, fortnightly series of workshops to help you RELAX, RESTORE, RESET and RECONNECT.
As winter draws in, we can often start to feel tired, lethargic and in need of a little extra TLC. This is why we’ve designed a series of workshops focused around restorative yoga and yoga nidra, allowing an opportunity to take some time out for deep rest, promoting a sense of calm throughout the body and mind.
Each session will begin with some gentle grounding movement, working with the breath to soothe the nervous system. We will follow with restorative yoga postures, supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets, to allow the body and mind to fully let go and rest.
We will then move on to yoga nidra, a deeply meditative practice also known as yogic sleep. You will be guided through a meditation technique to expand your awareness and encourage stillness and inner peace.
Through this series, we aim to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed!
