Intuitive Wellness Day Retreat
Join Naama and Holly for a day of learning about tuning in to what intuitive wellness looks and feels like to you. This will be learning about intuitive movement, intuitive eating, intelligent rest and the importance of respecting bio-individuality.
10:00 – Introduction and Intuitive Movement
Holly will lead us through a beautiful flowing all-levels yoga session, focusing on tuning in to your energy levels, any niggles in the body, and your mental state. This session will be all about how to move for pleasure; how to release tension that you’ve identified, how to lift the heart rate and respiration rate and dive in to challenges and how to identify your need for rest. This is not about counting and burning calories, this is about moving for your overall health and wellbeing; mental as well as physical.
12noon – Brunch and Grace Break
Our brunch will be tasty, nourishing, and for everyone – let us know if you have any dietary requirements at all. Following brunch, there will be some free time, then we’ll take a grace break; a quiet break letting food digest and letting the mind rest. (It’s totally delicious!)
13:00 – Gentle Walk
With full and satiated bellies, we’ll take a gentle walk around the Dock. Getting out and into nature is widely recognised as being a great tool for boosting overall wellbeing, well let’s try it!
13:30 – Intuitive Eating
Intuitive Eating has been life-changing for both Naama and Holly. Naama will talk us through the principles of Intuitive Eating, which might blow apart what you believe about food, weight and dieting, so do come with an open mind! We’ll have some time to talk in depth about any principles that resonate with you, and some time for questions also.
Intuitive Eating aligns very closely with Self Care, and Naama is an expert in Self Care, so our talk will visit why it’s important to prioritise looking after yourself, what that might mean for you, and practical tips to fit beneficial self care in to a busy life filled with works, kids, friends and more.
14:45 – Body Gratitude Yoga Nidra
After all that information, some of which might be so different to anything you’ve come across, it’s time for a break! Holly will lead us through a restful Yoga Nidra, focusing on Body Gratitude. Holly found that focusing on feeling grateful for her body; how it functions and how it allows her to live a busy life, was completely pivotal to her intuitive eating journey, so she’s excited to share this in such a restful setting.
15:30 – Q&A, Tea
We’ll have some calm time to answer any of your questions, drink tea, enjoy some chocolate and generally get ready to go in to the outer world again!
