Bev English
Yoga Hero Graduate – Yoga Instructor

Yoga Qualifications:
200 hr Vinyasa Flow
My background:
I was a late starter to yoga and took it up to gain some strength, flexibility and improve my balance going into midlife. I have a passion for healthy ageing but never imagined I would become a yoga teacher!
I have worked in an office environment my entire working life and ran my own business. So originally, taking up yoga was so beneficial for de-desking and de-stressing me as well as calming my busy mind. On my mat was literally the only place I could truly switch off from all the chaos and worry around me. I decided to leave the stress and pressures of my Finance Manager role earlier this year, to pursue a career in teaching yoga.
My other passion is being outdoors as much as I can, ideally on some amazing walks in nature with my dogs.
My yoga:
I believe that yoga has so many benefits and I really want to share these with others. I don’t believe that it is solely for the young and flexible but that it is for absolutely everyone. Yoga can empower us and making some time for ourselves whether that be daily or weekly, should be considered a necessity not an indulgence.
My classes start with a calming focus to arrive on the mat followed by yoga flow sequences and end with a relaxing savasana. My students leave feeling empowered and much more relaxed and calmer than when they arrived. I like to introduce themes and philosophies into my classes as well as breathing techniques. My classes are suitable for all levels.
What I offer:
Studio classes – private 1:1 session – workplace yoga – chair yoga
