My background:

I have been practicing yoga for over ten years, and qualified as a teacher in 2018, graduating from the first 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Yoga Hero in Leeds. 

Since then, I have also trained in teaching Yin Yoga, Restorative & Yoga Nidra, and Chair Yoga. I’m currently studying an Advanced Anatomy course with a focus on arm balances. 

My yoga:

On a personal level, yoga has had a huge impact on my life – not only physically but on a mental, spiritual and emotional level too. To me, yoga isn’t about whether or not you can do the splits or stand on your head – it’s about developing a deep connection with yourself and others; and this is something I’m passionate about sharing with all of my students.

My vinyasa classes are dynamic yet nourishing, with a focus on building strength and flexibility, whilst working with the breath to find focus and calm the nervous system. I also teach slower styles of yoga, geared towards finding deep rest and relaxation to help relieve stress. I’m a firm believer that yoga is for everyone, and I aim to make my classes as accessible as possible by offering variations for students to modify the practice to best suit their needs.
