STUDIO | Transitions: Seasonal Yoga Workshop – Spring
The first of a 4-part series, ‘Transitions: Seasonal Yoga Workshop – Spring’ is a super friendly, down-to-earth and open level session where we explore how we expand our yoga by connecting to the earth and drawing in deeper connection to the seasons and natural cycles.
Starting with Spring, our first session runs alongside the Spring equinox, which is a celebration of the balance of light and dark as we shift towards the more yang and lighter months of the year.
Join Helena & Rachel, both past teachers at Yoga Hero, and allow them to guide you through their kind of yoga – a practice experienced both on an off the mat.
Starting with breathing techniques (pranayama) and an intention setting meditation, we’ll then share in an open discussion about the seasons, cycles, how intertwined we are to the earth and how this can all impact our body, our emotions, our practice … and much more.
We’ll then shift into a yoga flow, taught by both teachers, incorporating balance based yang movement and closing with quieter reflective movement. The flow is inspired by the awakening in of spring.

About Rachel
Rachel has been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching for nearly 3. With a huge belief in yoga extending beyond the mat, inspired by our relationship with the earth and in sync with the seasons, she is drawn to sharing both fiery and deeper, still practices and loves to create conversation about how yoga can be interwoven through all aspects of normal life.
About Helena
Flowing with life, Helena is a great believer of stretching but not straining. Teaching stress relieving yoga and meditation, Helena enjoys bringing in seasonal elements and moon wisdom into her classes. A no judgement zone for feel good yoga, she teaches classes and workshops in Leeds.
